Janay Fashaw, 32, of Houston, Texas passed away on April 12, 2025.
Janay was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Shirley Sargent-Fashaw and Michael Junior Fashaw on November 19, 1992. She attended school at Wharton Community College and worked as a Bookkeeper and Property Management Assistant for Fashawmj Props. LLC. Janay’s latest enjoyments were 5-star restaurants, sports cars, and more.
Janay is preceded in death by her grandparents Eric Sargent, Gilbert Fashaw, Eric Sargent Jr., and Valerie Sargent.
Janay is survived by her mother Shirley Sargent-Fashaw, her father Michael Junior Fashaw, her brother Henry Chester and sister-in-law Kimberly Weaver-Chester, her grandmothers Sylvia D. Sargent and Doris Fashaw, her aunts Chris Sargent, Gladys Fashaw, Delores Fashaw, Sharon Braxton-Fashaw, Karen Fashaw, Susan Fashaw, and Janice Fashaw, her uncles Ron Sargent, Eugene Braxton, and Wallace Terry, and her cousins Damen Fashaw, Kyle Fashaw, Jamaal Fashaw, Sinclair Fashaw-Braxton, Sonome Fashaw-Braxton, Ojore Bushfan, Nanyamka Bushfan, Chad Sargent and wife Trisha Sargent, Ronald Sargent, Tia Hopkins and husband Mark Hopkins, Jayla White, Braydon Hopkins, and Mason Hopkins.
