Javier Federico Perez

Javier Federico Perez, a beloved member of the Bellaire, Texas community, passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 63. Javier was born on May 25, 1962, in Robstown, Texas, before moving to Bellaire. He was the cherished son of Lorenzo and Ultima a devoted brother to Edward, Laura, and Roxanne and a beloved Uncle to his niece Madison.

Javier's educational journey began at Paul W. Horn Elementary, continued through Pershing Middle School, and culminated with his graduation from Bellaire High School in the class of 1981. Throughout his life, Javier was an avid fisherman, often found enjoying the serene waters of Galveston Bay. His athletic prowess was evident from a young age, excelling in various sports, particularly football. He played for the Horn Cardinals, the Pershing Pandas, and continued his passion for the sport through his high school years.

A true Houston sports enthusiast, Javier's loyalty to his teams was unwavering, with one exception: his love for the Dallas Cowboys, which he shared with his Aunt Pura. Their enthusiastic cheers could be heard from miles away whenever the Cowboys played.

Javier is survived by his loving parents, Lorenzo and Ultima, his siblings Edward, Laura, and Roxanne, and his niece Madison Olds. He leaves behind numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends who will dearly miss his contagious smile and generous spirit. Javier was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julio and Santos Gonzalez, and Federico and Elida Perez.

A Rosary will be held on January 2, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081.

Javier was a loving son and brother, whose presence lit up every room. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
