Jerry was born in Houston and lived his entire life in the area. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Josephine “Billeye” Caves and Wade Caves.
Jerry graduated from Sam Houston State University and spent over four decades in
the sales industry. Once retired, Jerry spent his time reaping the rewards of his hard
work and spending time with his two granddaughters.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Kathy Caves. His children Chad
Caves, Shelby Riehle (husband Kevin Riehle), and Tyler Caves. Jerry’s two
granddaughters, Parker and Logan Riehle. His sister Donna Caves and niece
Amber.
Private services will be held for family and close friends to honor Jerry’s Life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to be made to the St. Judes Children’s
Research Hospital.
