Jesse Harvey Lee, 81, of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 15, 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas on February 6, 1941 to parents Viola Lee and Harvey Lee. Jesse graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and received a Bachelor Degree in Political Science. He met Mary Frances Gunn in Junior High School and married on May 5th, 1961 Jesse had a career in the Army for 20 years and retired as a Major. He has served the Lord since he was a kid and had a passion for leading young teengers to Christ in Japan.
Jesse always had a quick wit and a sly sense of humor. He was a jack of all trade, and could build a house from the ground up. He never met a stranger and was giving to all who asked. All who knew Jesse will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Viole Lee and Harvey Lee.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Francis Lee and his three children, Harvey Thomas Lee, Jesse Dwayne Lee, and Meenah Renee Thomas. Also left to cherish his memory are 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service is scheduled to follow and begin promptly at 1:00 PM followed by burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
