Jessie, I enjoyed all the laughs and all the good times we had on and off the baseball field. I enjoyed all the times we went fishing as well, but most of all I enjoyed the time you took to coach and mentor my son. You were by far the coolest coach that my son ever played for. You always believed in the kids you coached. I'll never forget the games we won that no one expected us to win and that feeling driving home talking to you on the phone excited about the win. Man, it was a good feeling.You were a true friend who I will miss deeply. To the Gonzalez family: I'm sorry for your loss. Your dad had so much love for you all. He always said good things about you when we talked. He truly loved you all with every bit of his heart. He will always be remembered. Love The Martinez Family

Thank you first of all for having such an amazing father/husband and friend. I will never find the right words to say how much I appreciate everything Jesse did for me. Back when he had just met me about 21 years ago, I remember not having a car and he honestly only knew me for a few weeks and he let me borrow his white pickup for many months, you tell me how many people do that without having a second thought, not many  but Jesse was one of the few. He was a good person to all and will be greatly missed. Thanks to Jesse for allowing me to be part of his life, he had faith in me as an accordion player and we had really good memories alongside good friends and you his family.  Many years later we ended up coaching together and how ironic that somehow God always kept us in touch at the right moments, now my oldest in is college because Jesse put him in front of the right people. I'm so sorry for your loss Alice, this is the hardest time you'll ever go through. I wish I could be there with you, but I hope you know that I'll be there with you in spirit.

So, so sorry, Jessica to you and your family.  Your dad was a great man.  I know you're going to miss him, as you probably already do.  Heaven has gained quite an angel - no more pain. God always takes the best.  We are praying for you.

I'm truly saddened about the loss of Coach Jesse. He was my grandson Jonavich Garcia's Coach for many years, and we truly admired and appreciated his time spent mentoring Jonavich. His presence with the baseball family was a joy, and he always made it so much fun for the boy's.  He will be missed, no dought.
