Jesus “Chuy” Cabrera went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 16, 2022. He was born on August 26, 1956 to parents Jose and Josefa Cabrera in Houston, Texas. He lived in Houston throughout his life where he retired as an Operator at Shell Refinery Deer Park.
Chuy was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, his wife Sandra Cabrera, his three daughters, Kelley Trevino and husband Eli, Adriana Acevedo and Eric Eureste, Ashley Bailey and husband Joshua, grandson Aidan Allnutt, his brothers, Joe Cabrera and wife Mary, Isidro Cabrera, his sisters, Esperanza Lugo and husband Adalberto, Guadalupe Alcaraz, and Consuelo Vela and husband Armando.
Visitation and viewing will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Followed on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM with burial and service at Brookside Memorial Park.
