Joaquin, I am sorry I missed you passed a year ago now. I am not very present on social media. You were absolutely one of my favorite people in high school. You always were smiling and and striving for something to make you reach farther. You are and always will be an inspiration. Pablo and family, sending you our love.

I will always remember his caring soul. 
He was my dear friend in high school, and although I had many friends socially, I considered him to be one of my “inner circle”. He was understanding and loyal, caring and deep, intellectual and funny. 
An awesome long-distance runner, he tore it up on the track and grass. He was a great teammate and helped take the guys to the top(District, State, etc).  
I remember him sharing his dream of wanting to win an Olympic medal. 

I lost track of time and 20+ years later here I am reflecting on my good friend. Joaquin you’ll be missed but not forgotten amigo. Rest in peace. You have more than a medal in heaven.

*Pablo, please know my brother PJ and I would have wanted to be there today(unfortunately Covid hit). I am praying for you and all the family.  Please receive my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy. Truly sorry for this loss.

A wonderful person I met through his sister's Irene and Martha he was in the kitchen one holiday gathering talking and having a good time it was always nice to see him r.i.p friend.

Hopefully Joaquin can still nudge Meeeee... IF a guy is trash Or has a good heart! Missing my Best Friend!!! Gosh we use to joke, that IF we got super old and never found "The One" we would go to Vegas get hitched, show the town a good time that would be spoken of for decades and that way WE could Money on Rent, Bills, Groceries...ya know... Grown up stuff and until then WE would just go have dinners together, so I won't eat alone! MY Food Buddy! He was Cool & Funny like that! Still wishing for just one more phone call!!! 💔

Joaquin will be greatly missed. He is a legend. I have fond memories of drafting class. He was clearly the best in the class at design. And of course band and cross country our freshman year and cross country throughout High School. Always a hard worker! Prayers for the family!
