Joe Cruz Diaz

Dolores Garcia Diaz, age 80, passed to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday November 6, 2011. She is preceded in death by her son Joel and survived by her husband Joe Cruz Diaz, her brother Raymond Garcia and her children Edward and spouse Blanca, Michael and spouse Pat, Loretta and spouse Gabriel, Larry and spouse Olga, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dolores will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother, wife and sister, with a deep sense of family values which she shared and instilled in all those who surrounded her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home with burial following. Death may deprive you of a loved one's presence but never of the cherished memories which live in the heart.

Joel Diaz, age 60, passed to be with our Lord and Savior on April 27, 2010. He was the eldest son of Joe Cruz and Dolores Garcia Diaz. Joel is survived by his children Joel Christopher, Celina, Brianna and Lizette, his siblings Edward, Michael, Loretta and Larry and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and family members and friends. Joel will be remembered as a loving father, son and brother, with a free spirit always willing to listen and help those he loved. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and burial on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the graveside. All services will be held at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077. “For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord.
