Joe S. Moran

Joseph S. Moran (84) passed away on July 27, 2023. Joseph, fondly known as Joe, was born to Apolinar and Antonia Moran on March 19, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Joe was born in Corpus Christi and resided and retired in Alturas, California before moving to San Antonio Texas to be surrounded by his daughter Evelyn Garza, and loved ones.

He is survived by his daughter Evelyn Garza and Step daughter Joyce Geneau. Grandchildren Kevin Moran (Deanna), Kristopher Garza (Kandice), Kenneth Garza, Kimberly Garza, Lisa Garner (Sheila), Nicole Jacobs and Lauren Rump. Numerous great and great great grandchildren. His Siblings Oscar Moran (Mary), Elias Moran (Mary Alice), Santos Moran (Rosemary), Rosendo Moran (Teresa), Maria Oralia Rodriguez, Rachel Rivera and Elvira Garcia. Numerous nephews, nieces, family members, friends and adopted daughters and sons. Preceded in death by his parents Apolinar and Antonia Moran and daughter Patricia Moran.

Joe will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving father, a beloved grandfather, and a caring friend. Joe was a hard working man. He loved being outdoors and passing time fishing and hunting. His greatest joys were being with those he loved most. Joe was a man with great knowledge, a deep love of god, and a heart of gold. Joe was loved by many, and though he will be greatly missed he will live on with us in our hearts forever.
