Joe Marvin Zepeda went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the age of 76 years old. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1938, the son of Domingo and Martha Zepeda. He was the youngest of four children, having three older sisters.
He is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 57 years, Georgia; his two sons: Marvin, and wife Sue, and Vernon, and wife Lisa; his sister, Helen; his grandchildren: Jessica, Stephanie, Daniel and Aaron; and his great-grandchildren: Caden, Briana and Xavier.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Waldine (Tilley) and Lillian (Sanchez).
Joe married his high school sweetheart, Georgia, in 1958 and served the Lord as an active church member for many years as a deacon. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling in his retirement years. He was a faithful husband, a loving father and was always laughing and enjoying life.
He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
