John grew up in Houston on Doverside where he spent many years making friends and trouble; the kind normal boys would get into. Being the baby of the family, he was always looked after by his sisters and brothers.
He went into the Navy as a Merchant Seaman and was honorable discharged after an injury. John spent most his life doing many different jobs. You could call him John of all trades. He was a truck driver for a plumbing company in Houston, upholster for Sunnyland in Houston, and had his own upholstery shop in Bacliff. He also was a carpenter when his older brother needed help.
John’s favorite pass time was putting puzzles together with his family. He enjoyed cooking. He always had a way of saying things unfiltered. It could make you laugh or just shake your head but that was John.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William R Beadles Sr. and Elsie L. Beadles, his sister Louise Wilson, and his brother William R Beadles Jr.
He is survived by his sisters Patricia A Beadles Fair, Mary A Beadles Martin and brother Patrick H Beadles Sr, Sister in law Merry Culler Beadles and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to all the people that helped make him comfortable during his time of passing; the doctors and nurses at UTMB, The Crowders, his niece, Jan Faust and family friend, Sue Faust.
