John Phillip Freeman, 62, of Houston, went to be with his Lord on December 21, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves in God's loving care his devoted daughter, Kristen Sullivan and husband, Ryan; sisters, Mary Burrow, Shirley Smith and husband, Leland; brothers, Henry Freeman, Gene Freeman and wife, Beverly, and Ravenell "Buddy" Freeman, along with numerous nieces and nephews and many caring friends from Cy-Fair Church of Christ and Strategy Termite & Pest Control. The family wishes to extend a special thanks you to Dr. Jessica Masterson. Friends are invited to gather with the family at 9 AM for a time of visitation, followed by the funeral service to celebrate John's life at 10 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
