John B Gentry II passed away Nov. 20, 2013. He was born on March 27, 1945 in Battle Creek, MI. John is preceded in death by his parents, John B & Elieen Gentry and his brother Jay Gentry. He is survived by his son, Sean Michael Gentry; sisters, Marthjo Gentry, Jody Marrs (David); brothers, Greg Gentry (Maris) Dallas Gentry, Kevin Gentry (Marla); sister-in-law Wendy Gentry, nieces, nephews & friends.
John was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, boating and just being outside drinking beer with family and friends. He was always the “life of the party”! He will be missed by many. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Sunset Villa; Lorraine, James, (D.J.) & Chante. There will be a service at Houston National Cemetery, Wed. Nov. 27 at 10:00am.
