John E Hessel

In loving memory of John Hessel born September 12, 1951 and went to be with God October 31, 2018. John was preceded in death by his parents, Susie & Bill, he leaves behind his loving wife Susan, his beautiful daughter Hayley, his brother Rich & sister-in-law Patricia and their two children Hayden and Seaira, his sister Susan & brother-in-law Charles Armstrong and their two children Will and Hannah. John had a very creative soul winning many awards in display and marketing. He was a great musician who started playing the drums at the early age of seven; he also played piano, harmonica and the guitar. He was an amazing musician with the bands Caught In The Act, Lefty and the Rights, Lips and the Tripps to name a few. John had unconditional love for family and friends, along with his dogs Chester, Ben, Bear, Bubba and his smallest furry son Oliver, along with Biscuit his cat. John was always a strong, determined person, traveling to Woodstock by hitchhiking at 17, to having to battle many serious health conditions and beating them all. John was a devoted father to Hayley and dedicated his life to doing all in his power to be her voice and make sure she had the best care for over the last 32 years. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle & loyal friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. John was heroic in overcoming all obstacles. The world is a better place because he was a part of it. Rest in Peace John, we love you.
