John B. Howenstine

John B. Howenstine, of Houston passed away on Monday, the 6th of April 2026. He was 85 years of age. John was born in Lima, Ohio on the 29th of August 1940, to Catherine (Chancellor) and James Howenstine, who both have preceded him in death.

Surviving him are his loving wife, Carol Grisham Howenstine, as well as his children, among many other family members and friends who will miss him greatly.

A memorial service to Celebrate John’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 21st of May 2026, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
