My family and I would like to thank each of you for your thoughts, prayers and memories that you have shared with us.  My brother will be missed greatly by our family.  We were wanting him to come home but his love of country and the Air Force kept him away.  We are so proud of his many accomplishments and of his many friends.  His ceremony at the VA cemetary was heart breaking but uplifting.  The veterans treated my brother with total respect even in the cold and rain.  Thank you each for honoring our brother with your respect.  I want to thank the Air Force and his friends in Virginia for also honoring him and for sharing your many memories and love with Joe and Linda.  These stories comforted us, especially our mom.  He will be greatly missed but will live in our hearts forever!  Jeanette

Needless to say, we agree with all you are saying.  We loved him so much and will miss him.  He was a great son, brother, father, grandfather, cousin and friend.  There was very little he wouldn't do for someone in need.  Thank you all who came to celebrate the Mass with us and our rainy visit to the VA cemetery.  The ceremony was quite beautiful and meaningful to all of us.  By the way, John graduated from St. Thomas High School and later University of St. Thomas. God bless family and friends during this time of sorrow.  Mr. Morris provided mentorship as a supervisor, personal guidance as a friend, and offered assistance and support to my family during my extended business trips.  He is greatly missed.

Our prayers are with the family. Mr. Morris was my supervisor for over 8 years.He was a confident and friend.He was always there for us. I want to share an ornament he gave to me the year my mom passed. "Merry Christmas from Heaven: I love you all dearly, Now don't shed a tear, I'm spending my Christmas with Jesus this year". We will miss him greatly.

We have great memories: Monterey, Las Vegas, Edwards AFB, Histocon!! Most recently we had a wonderful New Years Eve which we celebrated 2014...
you never know when the time you share will be the last.  We miss you John!

I am sorry to see this obituary. If this is Johnny Morris I knew; Johnny and I went to Jones High School together, same class. I was so proud when he broke the Texas state track high school record when he jumped 6' during I think our senior year. Johnny do I have all this right? I'm trying to brag on your accomplishment can only hope I have everything right. It was really good that we got to see Johnny at the 50th Year High School Reunion this past summer.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Morris's family. He was a caring and knowledgeable man and will be very missed by all of us in his B Flight Family.

I will miss Johnny tremendously. Although I did not see him often, when I did he made up for when I did not. He was a true Gentlemen and i had the upmost respect for him. He was loved by all his family. I can not put into words the hurt I fill for my Aunt Peggy and his brothers And sisters. I have comfort and I hope that  each of the family and friends do to. Comfort in knowing that if we to know Jesus and have him in our hearts we  will see Johnny again  soon. Looking forward to this joyful day of celebration in heaven. My sincerest condolences to family and friends.  Mr. Morris was a great friend, mentor, and supervisor.  He always was there for me with great advice both personal and professional.  There is a void that can never be filled.  My prayers to you and your family

Mr. John Morris was a humble, humorous and caring person.  He was one of the rocks in our squadron in Virginia because he knew his job so well and did not back down when he knew he was right.  I was fortunate to work with him and am glad that our paths crossed because I am better for knowing him.  My sincerest and deepest condolences are sent to the Morris Family.

You have my sincere condolences. I had the pleasure of working with John. He was always willing to help when I had questions.  I will miss him and his sense of humor.

Condolences to the Morris family.  Mr. Morris was a good supervisor and most of all a great person.  He helped me through some things I was dealing with while at Langley and for that I will forever be grateful to him.  May God give you peace and comfort you in your time of bereavement.

I love and miss you so much. My world will never be the same without you here.  I know that you are now with your loving wife, Remy and your dad and they will hold my place until I can be there with all of you. I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished in your life and the many people you have touched.  I will not say goodbye for I know I will see you again.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.  I had the pleasure of working for Mr. Morris and he was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever worked with.  What I will remember most was his willingness to take the time to help me and answer my questions, whether they were work related or personal.  I will miss you.

Cruz and Morris Family,

Mr. Morris (my supervisor for the last six years) was an absolute scholar - - knew his Manpower business plus a lot of rich history.  Say not in sorrow that he is no more but rather in thankfulness that he was.  May his legacy teach the principles of integrity, dedication, and commitment.  Most assuredly, JOY does come in the morning!

My sincere condolences to the bereaved family at this most difficult time. May you be comforted by reflecting on the many wonderful memories that you can cherish forever.
