John “Black” Subia John Rogelio “Black” Subia Age 67, of Houston, Texas passed away October 10th 2015 in Houston. Born July 7 1948 in Kaumakani, Kauai and raised in Kalihi, Oahu. Class of ’66 Farrington High School. Served in the Air Force from 1966 - 1971. He was employed at Severn Trent Services. He is survived by wife Wanda and son Shon; brothers, Irwin I. Subia, Donald Subia; sisters, Peregrina Guillermo - deceased, Consuelo (Lucien) Quijano, Estrella (Glenn) DeCoito, Caroline (Larry) Dupio. Visitation & Services 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday (November 7) at Tsue Farms, 62-400 Joseph Leong HWY, Haleiwa. We will have a “Back-Yard” Paina – Local Boy Style Celebration of Life. T-shirt & Shorts attire, bring your towel, swimsuit, extra clothes, beach chair, beach blanket and fishing pole. Come spend the day with the family.
