Jonathan Barrett Dobos

Jonathan Barrett Dobos born September 21st 1974 in Houston, Texas was the 3rd son born to the late Cameron Steve Dobos & Judy Hornsby Dobos. Jonathan was affectionately known to his mother as “baby son” or “baby boy”; and to his brothers Todd and Rodd known as “little bro” or “little brother”. Jonathan departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 6th, 2020. Jonathan was loved by many and in return the love he showed others caught up with him. He was so proud of his son Jacob Truman Dobos, born June 30th, 2009. He wanted only one thing in life and that was to show the world how good of a father he was to Jacob. Jonathan’s father departed this world in 1984 when Jonathan was only 9 years old. He was coached by his father and shown early on the way a child should be loved and raised. He in turn loved coaching Jacob in Little League and was a mentor to his son in all aspects of life. He would’ve done anything he could for his son Jacob. It is sad to say he died from a broken heart. He will be remembered as a faithful server of the peace to his former colleagues at the Harris County Precinct #2 Constables Office, as well as his friends and co-workers at the Gleannloch Pines Golf Club. During the time of his passing he resided with his brother Rodd in the Champions area of Houston. He loved this area of town and enjoyed the adventures he and Rodd shared together. Jonathan loved gatherings of people just to listen and have conversation. Little brother will be missed by all he touched, but the person he will and has always missed the most will be his son Jacob… Love you Jacob, daddy will now and always watch over you. Jacob, know that you are loved and one day we will dance again in Heaven. From his brothers, and recently departed mother we say God Speed, you were and will always be very special to us. We love you Jonathan.
