You are still thought of often.  So many times, when I walked down the hallway at LP, I still think of you and the impact that you made at HCD.

Good Morning Boss. Can’t believe it’s been 5 years today! Time passes but the memories remain!

Today makes 3 years without you. Just wanted to let you know that we still think of you. I send Prayers to your family hoping that they are all doing well. I know you are looking down from up above after them!

Hey Boss, I cant believe its been 2 years today since you took your last breathe. Just want to say you are not be forgotten. The Astros won the world series and today was the parade but im sure you were smiling down from heaven watching!

2016 OEM CERT Rodeo

One of my favorite memories of Jon and the Guys (Joey & Mark). We would arrive early to the cert rodeos waiting for everyone to show up. We would share some funny stories, or they would just pick on me! I snapped this photo of Jon bursting out laughing! One of the 1st times I actually saw him act/joke around like a kid at work!

Cuz words can’t explain how much we all miss you! The selfie’s we all used to share to brighten your day or scare you (still not clear on which way it went, lol). Such a kind, sweet-hearted human. You made my birthday’s lit! Always kind & thoughtful. The world has lost a great man, husband, father, son, cousin, uncle & friend. We are comforted knowing that you are no longer in pain and are looking over Erika, Ben & Levi. The mark you’ve left on all of us will live in us forever. 🎶your candle burned out long before, your legend ever will 🎶.  It’s never goodbye, but see you later cuz. We LOVE YOU! 

Jon was my boss for 6 years. He was more than a boss he was my friend. He looked out for me and our I.T. Team, whether it was work or Hurricane Harvey when me and my family were flooded out from our home. We all miss you and will not forget all the things you thought us. We will continue you to make you proud. To Erica, Ben, Levi and the family, we in General Services are Forever Thankful to have had Jonathan be a part of our lives!

Every year for a while it was Fat Tuesday, crawfish, and a few drinks

When Saint Arnold's Brewery was still new. I guess we both loved a beer here and there 🙂

We used to go for crawfish and beer every Fat Tuesday. Looks like we were having a pretty good time back in about 2010.

Sad 😢 that my dear Brother in Law Jonathan passed away. He was a good men & the nicest person you could meet or hang around with. He would make you feel confortable in odd places as he did that Holiday night  I first visited my in laws house. My  friend & Brother as he called me in one of many nights we went out. I still remember exactly the words of that night “Don’t worry I got you you are like my Brother”. 
Jonathan would anything for you or he would just volunteer himself to help or just be there for you. I will miss you my friend but I’d always remember you. 
RIP my friend that the Heavenly Father has a Special place for good man like you.

I worked alongside Jonathan during our deployment to NRG Stadium for Hurricane Harvey. He was a joy to work with because he was always positive and smiling. He was also very creative with his solutions and it was great to work with someone who carried such a wonderful energy. I’ll never forget working with Jon. Rest In Peace, friend. You will be missed. 

I remember when we went to the Texas renaissance fair and through the whole day we kept seeing people eating these chocolate dipped cheesecake.every time we saw one passed we just looked at each other and kept saying we need to get one . As it was almost timed to go we were both looking everywhere until we found it , once we found it we were so happy and laughing and when we ate it we were so both happy to finally taste it.

I worked with Jon for over 15 years and never imagine a day that he would not be here.  His face would light up at the mention of his wife and two sons!  We had so many laughs and he was such a good listener.  Whenever I called for help, he would always pop up in my office doorway ready to solve the problem.  I will miss you forever.  Thanks for being such a wonderful friend.  

I will miss Jon dearly.  I've only known him for 5 years when I started working for Harris County, but I feel like I've known him forever.  He does light up the room with his smile every time he came into the office.  He's one of the most helpful people I've ever met.    I had no idea he was battling cancer.   He truly love what he does -- helping people;  he went above and beyond which was very evident especially during the COVID 19 lockdown until the very end of his life.  He was an amazing person and will never ever be forgotten.  

Jon, we lean on the cherished time we've shared with you.  You are missed by all who crossed your path.
