

Jorge V. Razzo (Yoyo) passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 74, in Missouri City, Texas. He fought his fourteen-month battle with cancer and stayed strong until the end.
Jorge moved from Ecuador in 1966 to New York where he served in the United States Army. He completed his basic training at Fort Jackson and then shipped out to Germany with the 3RD Armored Division. Then he retired in 1971 as a Specialist 5. Additionally, he joined the Army Reserves and served a couple of years.
Thereafter, he moved to California, where he was a very much appreciated financial aid advisor and advocate for various beauty schools and people in need. In 2005 he retired to enjoy a simpler life. Also, he was an avid walker often taking 5-mile walks and hiking. He loved being outdoors and riding his bike.
Jorge was one of eight children of Reinaldo A. Razzo and Luzmila Bonilla-Razzo. He is survived by his brothers, Eng. Manuel E. Razzo, Honorable Doctor Eddie W. Razzo MC, Reinaldo J. Razzo, his sisters Marlene M. Granizo, Guadalupe R. Razzo, his only son George, and his daughter in law Tiffany.

A gathering for Jorge will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 17, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, June 17, 2022 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
