He is survived by his children, Maria Beltran (Gabriel), Jose Jaime Gurrola Jr. (Claudia), Martha Arredondo (Juan), Gerardo Gurrola, Sergio Gurrola (Myrna), and Monica Villarreal (Nick); grandchildren, Gabriel Beltran Jr. (Nina), Juan Jose Arredondo Jr. (Bibi), Matthew Beltran (Amanda), Jose Jaime Gurrola III, Sandra Arredondo, Natalie Gurrola (fiancé Patrick), Crystal Gurrola, Gerardo Gurrola Jr., Abigail Gurrola, Mia Gurrola, and Morgan Villarreal; great-grandchildren, Grace Beltran, Gabriel Beltran, Melanie Arredondo, Lucy Beltran, and Emily Arredondo; siblings, Guillermina Gurrola Ramos, Rafael Gurrola Ramos, Maria Estela Gurrola Ramos, Rogelio Gurrola Ramos and Jose Guadalupe Gurrola Ramos.

A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
