Josephine Lenatta Campbell, 72 was one of five children born to Oscar Blackwell and the only child for Minnie Breeden. Josephine was born May 21, 1948 in Cuero, TX. Josephine graduated from Cuero High School in 1966. She once enjoyed knitting and sewing making many outfits for herself and her children. Josephine also enjoyed QVC and HSN, reading and writing in her journals. Later in life she gave her life over to Christ where she enjoyed fellowship at the New Frontier Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Williams.
Josephine is survived by her children Gina M. Blackwell (Denton), Frank E. Campbell Jr. (San Antonio), Trina M. Campbell (Houston), Benita J. Campbell (Houston), adopted daughter Dionne F. Walker (Houston) and adopted grandson Nicholas S. Barros (Houston). As well as her three brothers Richard Blackwell (San Antonio), Bruce Blackwell (San Marcos), Lawrence Blackwell (Austin) and a host of other family and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents James Breeden and Callie Pratt, parents Oscar Blackwell and Minnie Breeden and sister Marie Hargrove.
