My favorite memory of your mom is the time I came over and she was singing with that wonderful stereo that was by the front door. The song was "My Girl Josephine" by Fats Domino.  She was singing and snapping her fingers and swaying and just singing away.  I am sure she is teaching the angels in heaven a thing or two.

To the family of Josephine:
Josephine has been such a blessing to our family and to hear the many, many times that she nurtured Charlie after his mom's death at an early age touches your heart.  Charlie, his momma Rosie and his daddy Mike shared daily life, vacations, deer lease adventures, family events, meals and more and were as close as anyone could be. When Rosie Cotrone passed away, Josephine became the 2nd mom to Charlie and he is so grateful for that saying often what she and the family means to him.  When I came into the family, it was as if I had always been there and Josephine made me feel so loved as she did our family. I looked forward to spending time with her. I know we both will miss her laugh, smile, kisses and the ever present offer of feeding us (and what a great cook) when we were together.  The many calls over the years were and are special and her memory will live on in us, as do the values she exhibited with her words and actions.  We admired her, loved her and knew always that she was thrilled with being thought of and remembered.  We will continue to remember her and try to live by her example.  Sadly,we were too sick to visit her in her last hours, but we hope through our calls and emails, she knew that we loved her as much as if we were her own. The Cotrone's and Carbone's in Heaven are probably sitting around a table (much like the one in Josephine's kitchen) and dealing out those cards, drinking coffee, eating something delicious and hollering and laughing together. Aunt Josephine you will be missed.  We will always have your memories but  Our Lord God now will have you for eternity until we all meet again.  I know he welcomes you with open arms and will love having your  pretty smile in heaven.  Prayers for the family and strength to keep them stronger in life. Amen

I was sad to hear of the passing of your sweet Mother. I KNOW loosing your Mom is one of  the hardest things that can happen.
