I still visit him almost every year. 

I knew him since sixth grade, and we were big anime nerds in the early 2000s. I used to visit him at his house all the time skateboarding over and chilling at the park next door. Played in orchestra in middle school, did art stuff building sets in high school while he did theater. 

He's always been a cool person, and I still have him in mind every year. Everyone I know still think of him and miss him.
