Joyce Marie Jones-Chandler went to be with her Lord on December 27, 2016. She was born on December 15, 1955 to parents James S. Jones and Norma Spoonemore-Jones in Houston, Texas. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons: Chris Jones and his wife Katie and Stephen Chandler; grandchildren: Christopher Jones, Jr., KateLynn Jones, Gavin Jones and Logan Chandler; brothers: Michael Jones and his wife Linda and Steven Jones; sisters: Patricia Stewart and Louise Zahn and husband William and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, January 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park & Cemetery
