Joyce McDade Davis, 86, of Houston, Texas entered into rest on October 4, 2019. She was born in Houston Texas on April 18, 1933 to parents George and Clarice Horton. She was married to Ira C. Davis Sr. in 1978. Joyce worked in maintenance for Cy Fair School District. She had a passion for Crafting but above all, her true passion was her family.
Joyce is survived by her children; Celeste Wilson, Cheryl Landry, Ira Davis, and Allen Davis, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Ira Davis Sr., children; Carl McDade, Nathan McDade, Albert Davis, and her parents.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Home going Celebration at 1:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. A Committal service will follow on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
