

Juan Becerra, a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on January 9, 1940, in Houston, Texas, Juan was a hard-working, loyal, and wise individual known for his generosity and honesty.
He was a native Houstonian, born and raised in the city. Juan graduated from Austin High School in Houston, Texas, and pursued higher education at San Jacinto Community College.
Juan proudly served his country in the United States Navy, demonstrating his bravery and resilience. After his military service, he became self-employed, owning and operating Becerra Air Conditioning and Heating, where his hard work and dedication were evident.
On August 23, 1964, Juan married his loving wife, Virginia Montoya Becerra. Together, they raised their three daughters, Cynthia G. Becerra, Regina Becerra, and Dolores Becerra Rojas, in Houston. Juan was a devoted family man, and his legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is also survived by his sisters, Felipa Felicia Vezie and Francisca Olivo, and his brothers, Richard Becerra and Jesus Becerra.
A visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Advantage Funeral Home on September 26, 2025, at 9:00 am. The Committal Service will follow on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, at 10:45 am.
Juan will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of faithfulness, devotion, and resilience will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
