Juan Luis (“Louis”) Jimenez, age 67, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2019 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Juan was born March 13, 1952 in San Angelo, Texas to Gavina and Rafael Nunez Jimenez.
After moving to Houston, Louis attended various colleges and universities, working towards an Associate degree in Business Management. He was employed at Compaq Computer Corporation for 18 years as a technician and supervisor. After leaving Compaq, he worked 8 years for Cat-Spec, Ltd. as a Corporate Administrator and retired after being diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Louis was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community for twenty-five years and recently joined Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, woodwork, all kinds of music, and outdoor activities. He will be remembered for his easy-going personality and unconditional love. Louis was extremely devoted to his family and friends, and will be missed dearly.
Louis is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter Amanda; son Jason; grandsons Alex and Marcus; granddaughter Paris; brothers Jesus Ramon, Rafael Reynaldo, Jose Alfredo, Fidel Ernesto, Blasé Antonio, Domingo Ramiro, Benjamin Rene; sisters Yolanda Marie, Anita Aurora, Christina; and mother Gavina (Nunez) Jimenez. He was preceded in death by brothers Arturo Rene, Emilio Lee; and father Rafael Nunez Jimenez.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by a Rosary from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM followed by a burial at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
