Juanita Aurora Negrete

Juanita Aurora Negrete, 70, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2026. She was born on October 31, 1955, in Monterrey, Mexico. Juanita was a devoted wife to Jose De Jesus Negrete and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She generously gave her time as a volunteer with BakerRipley, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to helping others.

Juanita had a deep passion for sewing and knitting, often creating beautiful handmade items for her family. She also found great joy in bird watching, appreciating the quiet beauty of nature.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Jesus Negrete and Jose Angel Negrete, and her mother, Maria Consepcion Silva.

Juanita is survived by her beloved husband, Jose De Jesus Negrete; her sons, Juan Carlos Negrete and David Antonio Negrete; her grandchildren, John Anthony Torres, Laura Lizzette Torres, Eric Martin Torres, Emily Nicole Mora, Joshua Puentes, Joseph Puentes, Zelda Elise Negrete, Marcelo Angel Negrete, and Evangelina Natalia Negrete; and her great-grandchildren, James Anthony Meina, Jacob Eren Medina, and Elena Inez Mora.

Juanita will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she shared so freely with her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation, Houston, TX 77003, US, on April 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, and again on April 14, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003, US, on April 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Santa Teresa Cemetery, 912 Buschong St, Houston, TX 77039, US, on April 14, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
