

She was born in San Antonio, TX, to Hubert Gerald Lambeth and Merlyn Larter Norris (Lambeth at the time of Judith’s birth), growing up with sisters Laura, and Angela and her brothers Thomas, James, and Lige. She met her husband Mark in Houston and they were married on September 1, 1990.
Born into a military family, Judith moved around in her childhood, with stays in Sausalito, CA, Okinawa, El Paso, TX, and Las Cruces, NM, before settling in Houston, TX, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, worked at various jobs (including Houston Lighting and Power, the electric company for Houston at the time), and then spent more than 20 years working for IBM, where she met her husband Mark in Houston. Besides her career at IBM, Judith was involved with the Unity Church, the Sukyo Mahikari Center for Spiritual Development, and she volunteered for over three decades with the Landmark Corporation.
During almost all of those 30+ years with Landmark, she led Landmark’s four-month Self Expression and Leadership course, and also trained other leaders and coaches to bring the course to participants all over the world. Her work in personal and professional growth, training, development, and human transformation benefited thousands of people globally.
She is survived by her sister Laura Lambeth and companion Jack Calhoun, sister Angela Repa and her husband Mark Repa and their daughter Abigail Repa, brothers; Thomas Lambeth and James Lambeth and his ex-wife Janet Lambeth and their children Kevin Lambeth (married to Karem) and Kelly Lambeth, and Lige Lambeth with wife Deborah Lambeth and her children Daniel Proper and Jennifer Proper. She is also survived by her husband Mark Bruni, her nephew Jared Bruni and niece Rhiannon Pickus and Rhiannon’s husband Scott Pickus and their daughter Evelina Pickus.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents Hubert Lambeth and Merlyn (Larter) Norris, and her brother-in-law Roger Bruni.
A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, with reception from 6:00 to 8:00, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX, with Graveside Services to follow on Thursday , August 22, 2019 at 11:30 am.
With a heart as big as a mountain, And a spine made out of steel,
