She was born on December 5, 1933 in Iloilo City, Philippines. Julieta worked as a nutritionist for the Department of Agriculture helping underserved communities in Antique, Philippines. After retiring, she moved to the United States to spend the rest of her years with her daughters and their families.
She was joyful, easy-going, adventurous, loved being around people and animals, and admired nature. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, pet sitting, and listening to music, most especially the waltz.
Julieta was married to the late Eugenio Moscoso and was survived by her daughters, Genalin Moscoso-Stafford (husband Fred) and Hystia Padlan (husband Alan); her granddaughters, Cassie and Danica Padlan; and her sister, Erenita Alameda.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
