Born Kathryne Deanne Bills on October 29th, 1950. Deanne died unexpectedly on January 25th, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Eric Erdmann, her daughter, Samantha and Husband Daniel Bethke and her brother Scott Bills. After earning her Master’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University she became a teacher, teaching in the Clear Creek ISD and Katy ISD for a total of 30 years. She later focused her attention on education outreach joining Baylor College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor & Associate Director of the Center for Educational Outreach. Deanne was a lover of life, travel and the outdoors. She spent her life sharing knowledge and brightening the lives of those around her. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Deanne Erdmann Science Teacher Education Fund at Baylor College of Medicine, One Baylor Plaza, MC160 Houston, Texas 77030, The American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
