

1990, in Lancaster, Texas to Michael Ellis and Lucille Williams Ellis. She
grew up in Lancaster, Texas and transitioned to Houston, Texas with
her mother. She graduated from Wheatley High School. She attended
various colleges and universities pursuing higher education.
Kontrell met the love of her life, Joseph Ferguson, and to this union,
they have four wonderful children, Paris, London, Princeton and Carlton.
Kontrell had an uplifting personality. She enjoyed singing and loved to
read journals.
Kontrell loved the medical field. She was interested in pursuing a career
in forensic crime scenes. But, instead, she decided on becoming a
phlebotomist. She transitioned back to the Dallas area. She became a
devoted staff member with Texas Health Resources as an Office Manager.
She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church under
the leadership of Pastor Edward Collins and now, Pastor Gregory Collins.
Kontrell leaves to cherish her memories, the love of her life, Joseph
Ferguson; two daughters, Paris and London; two sons, Princeton and
Carlton; her mother, Lucille Williams Ellis; her father, Michael Ellis
(Kimberly Ellis); her brother, Marcus Ellis; and a host of relatives
and friends.
Revelations 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes:
