

Kue-Fong Frank Wu, known to all as Ogu, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Changhua, Taiwan, Frank lived a life full of dedication, love, and joy, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Ting Wu; his daughter, Jennifer Kim, and son-in-law, Kevin Kim; his sister, Juliet Wu; his brothers, Kenny Wu, Casey Wu, and Albert Wu; and his cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jin Tang Wu; his mother, A Zhao Wu; and his sister, Amy Wu. Frank was a pillar of strength and kindness for his family, always putting their needs above his own.
For over two decades, Frank worked as an Infinium Application Manager at Weatherford, where he was known for his expertise, dedication, and unwavering work ethic. His colleagues respected him not only for his professional contributions but also for his warm and approachable nature.
Outside of work, Frank enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid golfer, a skilled pool player, and loved relaxing by the poolside with family and friends. A true gourmet at heart, he delighted in savoring and sharing exquisite meals, creating memories around the dinner table that will be treasured forever.
Frank’s gentle spirit, sense of humor, and love for life touched everyone he met. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Services:
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A celebration of Frank’s life will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a reception from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association in his memory.
