We were saddened to hear of the passing away of our dear Doris we will miss her a lot.  We extend our condolences to all the family   May God Rest Her Soul in Peace

I will always remember the big dinners we had at Raja's house. Doris was always so fun to talk to and her great big smile always reminded me of where Raja got his. She was a wonderful lady.

Auntie, I already miss our chats and the times we spent together. You always asked about each family member and truly cared about how everyone was doing.  You even remembered my friends and asked about them.  You shared my sense of humor and I loved how we laughed together.  We shared an outlook on life and how we perceived things.  You taught me to be more giving and caring and to let my heart be more open and vulnerable.  We shared our Orthodox faith.  So many times when I would come to visit we would watch a church service on TV from back home.  

Sitting with you and getting to know the family ties and our ancestry was amazing. I am so glad I took notes.  You gave me a glimpse of Jerusalem days that I cherish.

My church family in Bloomington always asked about my Aunt Doris.  They all loved you .  You always baked a dessert for our church festival and wanted to help and participate.  You always encouraged me with my activities.  

Now you are at peace.  I love the words of the Kontakion  With the saints, give rest O Christ, to the soul of Thy servant, where there is neither sickness nor sorrow nor sighing but life everlasting.
We miss you here but I know you are with us and watching over us. Thank you for enriching all our lives.

I will cherish the times I spent with Doris. She gave me so much. I have so many gifts from Jordan that I love but my most fond memory is of the day that Doris taught me to make the delicious rice that she shared with me always. As I say goodbye, I reminisce on the good old times back in Jerusalem.  The Hananias and Mouchabecks gatherings to celebrate a birthday or a Holiday have been the highlight for every kid!  I remember the Ghrybeh that you used to make - my favorite! 
I believe you are now in a better place with eternal peace and no suffering.  You will be greatly missed.
