Larry was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 22, 1937, to parents Lawrence Duane Park and Sarah Martha Wilson Park. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston. Larry met Thelma Louise Thomason in Houston, Texas, and they were married on November 18. 1961. He worked as an electrical engineer at Shell Oil Company for 34 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Duane Park Sr.; mother, Sarah Martha Wilson Park; brother, John Herbert Park; and daughter, Angela Denise Park Jacobson.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Louise Thomason Park; son, Derrick Scott Park; and three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Hunter, and Kelsey.
A graveside service for Lawrence will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
