

Leila was born on January 17, 1935 in Jericho, Palestine to Hanna Saman Khalaf and Hanneh (Daba'i) Khalaf.
Leila married Saman Khalaf Khalaf in Ramallah in 1958 and they moved to the United States in June 1969 ultimately settling in the Houston area and raising their three children.
Leila was loved by all young and old and was known for her wisdom, generosity, sense of humor, and willingness to give back to the community. Leila loved life..
Leila's legacy is filled with unconditional Love, kindness, friendships, tolerance, a peaceful nature and spiritual riches.
Leila was Philanthropist at heart and spent a lifetime helping others.
Leila is survived by her children Khalaf Khalaf, Mutaz Khalaf (Daniela), and Sawsan Khalaf; her grandchildren LeilaTeresa, Saman, Tamara, Karim and Saman; and her brother Tariq Khalaf (Paula).
She is also beloved by her nephews Alan Tariq Khalaf and Joesph Tariq Khalaf as well as the Extended Khalaf Family.
Leila is preceded in death by her loving husband Saman, and by her siblings Shawqi Khalaf, Lama Kalef, Abla Khalaf, Isa Khalaf, and by Mayor Karim Hanna Khalaf and her sisters in law Teresa Karim Campisi Khalaf, Jamileh Khalaf and Bahia Khalaf.
Trisagion Prayer for the Departed & Services will be held at St George Greek Orthodox Church 5311 Mercer Houston TX 77005.
Interment will be held at Brookside Memorial Park.
