Leonard Pady Jr.

Leonard Pady Jr., age 96, of Coldspring, Texas, was born on November 22, 1929, in San Antonio, Texas, to Leonard & Leola Pady, and went home to be with the lord, with his family by his side on April 8, 2026. Leonard was cherished and beloved by all who knew him—a faithful, kind-hearted man whose life reflected devotion, steady work, and a quiet strength that will be long remembered.

Leonard worked as a glassman and also built houses, taking pride in honest labor and the satisfaction of creating something lasting with his hands.

Leonard enjoyed playing the fiddle. He also took great pride in keeping a beautiful lawn. He loved to mow. He was a Christian minister. In all he did, he carried himself with a devoted and hardworking spirit, and those closest to him will also remember his humorous way of bringing lightness to everyday moments. He will be remembered for his deep love of gospel music, his signature lunch of a bologna sandwich and Dr. Pepper, and the countless hours he spent swinging on the porch, tending to the birds and squirrels he loved to watch.

Leonard was preceded in death by wife: Doris Evelyn Pady; sons: Donald Ray Pady, John Melvin Pady; siblings: James Pady, Clyde Pady, Charles Pady, Anthony Pady, Noonie Pady, Harold Pady, Gloria Hall, Annibell Pady, Snooki; grandchildren: Rhonda Lynn Kerr; great grandson: Isaac Michael Czarniecki.

Leonard is survived by sister: Loise Mundine of Minnesota; sons: Leonard & wife Wanda Pady of Point Blank, TX, Roger & wife Donna Pady of Pinehurst, TX, Ronnie & wife Terrie Pady of Porter, TX, Douglas & wife Carmen Pady of Conroe, TX, Paul & wife Kim Pady of Crosby, TX; daughters: Ann & husband David Wisenbaker of Wiergate, TX, Patricia & husband Bobby Gresset of Votaw, TX, Joan & husband Marshall Hogue of Wiergate, TX, Brenda & husband John Jordan of Wiergate, TX; 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren.
