

At the age of 19, Leslie joined the United States Army and served in the Vietnam. He valued his service highly attaining the rank of Army Ranger AGC, SP5 E5. He earned several medals, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ Device 1960, 1 O/S Bar, Expert Rifle Medal (M-14 & M-16), Good Conduct Medal, and Army Commendation Medal.
After proudly serving, Leslie met and married his wife Joyce, celebrating 52 beautiful years together.
His proudest family moments were his marriage to his wife Joyce, his family, and spending time with his family doing the things he had a great passion for. Though he loved and had a passion for fishing, hunting, and camping, Leslie’s favorite role was that as a grandparent. He treasured his time with his grandkids and deeply loved being their grandpa.
Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; daughter, Catherine Tucker; son, Robert Tucker; grandson, Braeden Tucker-Staley; granddaughter, Paige Tucker; brother, Joseph Tucker and sister-in-law, Bonnie Tucker. Leslie was proceeded in death by his parents; stepfather Anthony “Big Tony” DeAngelo; brother Anthony “Lil Tony” DeAngelo; and nephew Stephen Tucker.
