

Boots is survived by her son, Thurman Ray Bunch, Jr. and wife Barbara of New Caney, TX; and her daughter Marianne Bunch Willhoite of Houston, TX; Grandchildren: Jason Bunch and wife Amber of Corsicana, TX; Amanda Bunch Pimentel and husband Gabriel of Corsicana, TX; Thurman Ray (Trey) Bunch III of Deer Park, TX; Alexis Michelle Bunch of Deer Park, TX; Shawn Nicholas Willhoite and wife Angela Torres Willhoite of Troy, TX; Shannon Dale Willhoite of Belton, TX; and Shelby Morgan Willhoite of Temple, TX. Great grandchildren: Layton Riley Bunch and Baily Bunch of Corsicana, TX; Sophia Marie Willhoite of Troy, TX and Bentley Chase Willhoite of Temple, TX.
She is also survived by three sisters: Billye Joy High of Houston, TX; Jewel Rae (Judy) Frahm of Bay City, TX; and Wanda Hope Hammer and husband Wayne of Boerne, TX; two brothers: Reverend Vily Arlen Guidroz and wife Robbie of Dallas, TX; and Reverend Ronald Leslie and wife Jerry Ann of Galveston, TX.
Boots is also survived by very loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends, including members of Life Church – Houston, TX, and former members of Peace Tabernacle – Baytown, TX.
Boots is survived by her loving caregiver of the past eight years, Sandra Gomez, whose sensitive care extended Boots’ life considerably.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Vily Able Guidroz and Dora Emily (Raggio) Guidroz; sisters Glory Lois Allahverani and Grace Opal Guidroz, and Reverend Lowell David (Happy) Guidroz; Nephew Jonathan Norman Hammer; great nephew Thomas Michael Saad; Brothers-in-law James Frahm and Walter David High; and her former husband, Thurman Ray Bunch of Mobile, AL.
Boots was a positive influencer, encouraging many young people and others to attain greater success. Her work for many years with the baby nursery and as Sunday School Superintendent at Life Church – Houston – was legendary. She was a fun person, attracting many friends. Boots was very detailed in her work, and hard-working and focused. Her spirit was one of gratefulness. Boots helped many people to obtain excellent jobs and ministries. She especially loved the game of baseball and the Houston Symphony.
