Linda Marie Markert - Navarro

Linda Marie Markert-Navarro was born on November 13, 1952 and passed away on April 2, 2012. She graduated from Cy-Fair High School, attended Texas A&M University, and graduated from the University of Houston. Linda was a native Houstonian, but loved spending time on the farm that she shared with her family. She took joy in gardening, cooking, and reading. Linda and her husband both enjoyed fishing, and they spent many holidays doing so in Rockport. She was fond of animals and she doted on her cats, dogs, fish, and birds. She was “Nana” to her granddaughters, who loved her dearly. Linda worked at Total Minatome and ODS-Petrodata for 22 years. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ella Markert. Linda is survived by her wonderful husband, William Navarro; her sister, Helen Kinnamon; her nephews, Chris and Jeff; her step-son, Christian, and his wife, Jill; and her two lovely granddaughters, Renee and Rosalie. Linda's family would like for you to join them at her memorial service celebrating her life on Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 12:30 P.M.
