

On Sunday, October 27, 2013 God called home one of his angels, Lloyd Peter Dayries from his labor to rest.
Lloyd was born February 25, 1944 to the Mary Bridgewater Dayries and Lee A. Dayries. He was baptized at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Plaquemine La.
Lloyd was a 1962 graduate of Iberville High School in Plaquemine La. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. After getting out of the Navy he worked as a Postal Letter Carrier and a Greyhound Bus driver in New Orleans, La.
Lloyd was united in holy matrimony to Louverta Thibodeaux and to this union four children were born.
Lloyd and his family relocated to Houston Texas in 2005 after Katrina hit New Orleans, La where he and his family was living until the storm.
Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories his separated wife, Louverta Dayries, and his devoted friend Ruth Bickham. Three daughters: Loyce Dayries, Loubertha Dayries and Leona Dayries.
Eleven grandchildren: Dante Dayries, Danavia Dayries, Kendall Hopkins, Haven Duncan, Siyianna Dayries, Lloyd Dayries, Jakiayah Dayries, Elvin Hebert, Hadiya Duncan, Hunter Duncan, Haven Duncan, and Demarion Hebert.
Two brothers: Herman J. Dayries Sr (Yvonne), Gerald Dayries Sr: Three sisters, Geraldine Jones, Gloria Robichaux and Brenda Bridgewater. One Aunt, Lillian Smith, Sister in Law, Vickie Dayries. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Lee A. Dayries and Mary Dayries. One son Lloyd Dayries Jr. (Twin) Two brothers: Lee Dayries and Larry P. Dayries Sr. Two sisters Lillian Dayries and Odille D. Pace.
