I have great memories with my great aunt at my Nana's house (Faye Russell) for the holidays. She was a sweet person. My best memory is setting around the table with the “old folks” learning to play chicken foot! I was so young. How I long for the simple days of my youth. Very few of the ones I love and look up are still living. Just knowing those I love are here on earth brings comfort. As another passes I feel more alone in this big world. Aunt Lois I love you dearly and I'm sorry to hear of your passing. I'm sorry I never came to visit. We don't realize until it's too late that we neglected what counts the most in life, family. May God comfort those left behind, and may we all remember the love we felt from Lois Darden. This week I told my children about my Aunt Lois and we gathered around the table and I taught them how to play chicken foot.

The world has lost a dear lady, but Heaven got another Angel.  We loved Mr. & Mrs. Darden so much.  What a joy they both were to know.  She's with Mr. again, and I can hear the wonderful laughter.  She will be missed.

To Family & Friends, I did not know Lois personally, but I wanted to offer my condolences to you all. May you rely on GOD during this difficult time.
