Lorene was a house wife. Lorene was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Lee Thornton, her sons Harold Wayne Thornton and Billy Ray Thornton.
Lorene is survived by her daughter Carol Ann Liles; daughter-in-law Connie Sue Thornton; eleven grandchildren: Lisa Annette Bailey, Elizabeth Rene Dees and husband Shane Dees, Shawn Wayne Thornton and wife Kerry Thornton, Susan Ann Allen and husband Richard Allen, Patricia Kay Whiddon and husband Eddie Whiddon, Kenneth Wayne Thornton and wife Kristina Thornton, Kimberly Lynn Pullum and husband Dwayne Pullum, Johnny Lee James, Billy Ray Thornton Jr, John Henry Thornton and wife Nikki Thornton and William Thomas Thornton; 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather for services at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 with the interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
