Lorine Cook, age 90, of Spring, Texas passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. Lorine was born January 23, 1932 to parents Annie and Gus Rauch. Lorine graduated from La Grange TX. She worked in fabrics at Wal-mart. She had a passion for quilting, fishing, crafting and she loved her sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband Luis Cook; parents Annie and Gus Rauch; brother Elois Rauch (Elsie); Sisters Ruby Klieber (Doc), Grace Schnieder (Roland), Bernice Norton (Chuck), Clara Mather (Don); brother in law Carl Crutcher.
She is survived by her sister Helen Crutcher; daughters Brenda Reese and Patricia Locke (Brett); grandchildren James Cook, Jennifer Brulloths (Robert), Aaron Locke (Elena), and Hannah Locke (Jason Rothfeld); great grandchildren Arden Cook, Hendrix Cook, Mackenzie Locke, and Grayson Locke.
A visitation for Lorine will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 4699 - Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are James Cook, Aaron Locke, Jason Rothfeld and Robert Brulloths.
