

Louise Annie (Bench) Davenport was called to her Heavenly Father on June 6, 2013. She was born in Bremond, Texas on November 20, 1941 to Bill and Margaret Bench. Her beautiful smile and caring nature, that always put others before herself, will be dearly missed. She is at peace, looking down on her family and friends.
Louise is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles A. Davenport; son Thomas Davenport and wife Kelly; son David Davenport; and granddaughters Kristen and Allison. Also survived by her twin sister Virginia Hoepfl and husband Eugene; sister Stella Pruitt, brother John Bench and wife Theresa as well as numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
There were many special family members and friends that she held dear including cousins Jean Baxter and JoAnn Psencik; the families of Bobby and Betty Poehl, Joe (deceased) and Patsy Smith; Anton (deceased) and Barbara Huble.
She devoted 31 years of service at Marek Brothers performing a variety of functions and creating many special friends.
Visitation is on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 6-8pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors. A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of her life begins at 11:30am on Monday, June 10, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman Street, Houston, Texas, 77018. She will be laid to rest at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077.
While flowers are welcome, the family has requested donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Louise Davenport. Hopefully, this will help to find a cure to this terrible disease.
