

Louise lived a full and meaningful life over her 101 years, holding many different jobs. During World War II, she proudly worked in a factory helping manufacture landing gear for bomber planes, contributing to the war effort with her skill and determination. Known for her grace and warmth, Louise brought joy to everyone she met. She had a passion for reading—despite losing most of her eyesight. She also took great pride in her appearance, loved her jewelry, and always made sure everything she wore matched perfectly.
Louise was preceded in death by her sons, Eddie McDaniel and Curtis McDaniel, as well as her seven brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Aubuchon and husband Dan Aubuchon; and her grandchildren: Shannon Daugherty and wife Jami, Jason Daugherty and wife Amanda, Angelica Daugherty, Curtis McDaniel Jr. and wife Jennifer, Jeremy McDaniel and wife Crystal, Pam Uhernik and husband Mark, Venonia Arnold and husband Joe, and RP Grau and wife Cindy. She also leaves behind 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy McDaniel, Bailee McDaniel, Curtis McDaniel, Eastyn McDaniel, Ed Johnson, and Marc Payton.
Louise's life was marked by strength, kindness, and love for her family and community. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life service for Louise will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A visitation will occur Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
