Lydia Sanchez

She was born on May 22, 1940, in Ciales, Puerto Rico, to Ventura and Gabriela Colon. Lydia was known for her strong will, generosity, loyalty, and big heart. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and support.

Lydia was the devoted wife of Wosbeli Sanchez for 52 years. Together, they built a life centered on family and resilience.

She is survived by her husband, Wosbeli, her children Marilyn, Evelyn, Lee, and Veronica, as well as 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Her family was always her top priority, and she was a constant source of love and encouragement.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Funeraria del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Lydia’s favorite flowers were roses, a meaningful tribute to her life.

Lydia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Lydia Sanchez, de 84 años, falleció el 24 de diciembre de 2024, rodeada de sus seres queridos.

Nació el 22 de mayo de 1940 en Ciales, Puerto Rico, hija de Ventura y Gabriela Colón. Lydia era conocida por su voluntad fuerte, generosidad, lealtad y gran corazón. Tocó las vidas de muchos con su bondad y apoyo.

Lydia fue la dedicada esposa de Wosbeli Sánchez durante 52 años. Juntos construyeron una vida llena de amor, dedicada a la familia y los valores que compartían.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Wosbeli, sus hijos Marilyn, Evelyn, Lee y Veronica, así como 11 nietos y 8 bisnietos. Su familia siempre fue su prioridad y fue una fuente constante de amor y apoyo.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el jueves 2 de enero de 2025 en Funeraria del Ángel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. La visitation será de 2:00 PM a 3:00 PM, seguida por un servicio de 3:00 PM a 5:00 PM. Las flores favoritas de Lydia eran las rosas, un tributo significativo a su vida.

Lydia será profundamente extrañada por todos los que la conocieron. Que descanse en paz.
