Mack C. Morris, III became a citizen of Dilley, Texas when he was born to his proud parents Mack and Josephine Morris in 1953. During Mack’s life he attended Oklahoma State University, enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent 40 years in the oil industry.
Mack’s life-long travels led him to visit many countries and see many things that most people only dream about. Through his travels and work, Mack made many life-long friendships that he cherished.
Mack’s second greatest love was to hunt and fish. He was happiest in the majesty of the Wyoming mountains with friends, family and his favorite lab Jake.
The greatest love of Mack’s life was his family. As a testament to his love, Mack was a dedicated father, who set the example of work ethic as a hard worker and provider to his children Chas and Jenna. Mack loved his children and was very proud of the young adults they both had become.
Mack is survived by his wife Gloria Yomar Morris, granddaughters Faith and Izzy, mother Josephine Morris, Paul and Sylvia Morris, Lonnie and Dian White, nieces Keisha and April, nephews Paul and Alex and his dog “Buck”. Mack was preceded in death by his father Mack C. Morris, II.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2013, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
