Margaret Elaine Henson

She was born March 6, 1928 in Carthage, Texas to Claud D. Campbell and Gracie Mae Brooks.

Margaret was a loving outdoors person. She loved to garden and grow plants in her greenhouse that Roy built for her. Even after her health declined, she loved to sit outside and feed the hummingbirds and squirrels. Margaret always enjoyed visits from family and friends. She always had a story to tell and loved sharing them. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Henson of 60 years; parents, Claud D. Campbell and Gracie Mae Brooks; sister, Dorothy and brother, John.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Henson and his wife Donna, Terry Henson, and Paul Henson and his wife Angie; sisters, Bobbie Goynes, Sue Wedgeworth, and Claudia Whitaker, brothers, Bill Campbell, Danny Campbell, Steve Campbell and grandchildren, Katie Henson, Vance Henson, Alyssia Edwards, Amanda Bailey, and Ayden Henson; great-grandchildren, Gracie Edwards, Hayes Edwards, Liv Edwards, Alessi Henson, Claire Bailey and Chloe Bailey.

A Graveside Service will be held at Brookside Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 7739 281-449-6511.

The Henson Family will meet guests at the funeral home lobby by 1:30PM.
